Choosing the right air conditioner for your home

The first air conditioner was invented in 1931, and since then, the air conditioners have become smaller and more affordable. It’s a great time, especially now, to take advantage of discounts for these items since we’re in the monsoon season ❄️

Owning an air conditioner for your space plays a huge role on your electricity bill as well as your comfort. So, how do you really choose the right air conditioner for your room or office? Let’s start with the basics.

You must consider the size of your room. For tiny rooms or small office spaces around 10-15 sqm, a window type 0.75 HP is considered a good fit. While large rooms or an office space divided by cubicles that are around 35-40 sqm, should require a ductless split type 2.5 HP air conditioner. For any space larger than the first two, a central air conditioner should do the trick!

There are other things to consider when choosing the right air conditioner for your space such as energy consumption, cooling power, and space size.

Pro tip: Purchase inverter type air conditioners, even if they’re more expensive to purchase, the long term savings from reduced electricity charges will make up for it.
