  • The project involves the comprehensive rehabilitation of the University of the Philippines School of Economics, spearheaded by the Philippine Center for Economic Development (PCED). This extensive renovation includes two buildings within the school complex, aiming to upgrade infrastructure, improve facilities, and enhance the educational environment to support modern academic and research needs.
  • In collaboration with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and carefully selected contractors, the rehabilitation project covers essential structural and aesthetic improvements. Key areas of focus include upgrading mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, enhancing accessibility, modernizing classrooms, offices, and common areas, and incorporating sustainable design elements where feasible.
  • The project is targeted for completion by the end of 2024, pending final confirmation. Once completed, the upgraded facilities will offer a state-of-the-art academic environment, contributing to the long-term goals of the UP School of Economics and supporting its commitment to academic excellence.
